From Paris with love

We have some sunny days in between the rainy days.
Could have walked down every street in Paris and still been in love with the beautiful architecture , so much character. In Cape Town so many older building have been knocked down to build new ones so there isn't so much history compared to places like Paris and Munich.

Yesterday's photo-shoot with the incredible fashion blogger Caroline Daur for the second time.
 Such a genuine person!
Photos taken in the city in Hamburg and then a extra large cup of coffee and being temped to eat the biscuit served with it but remembering no cheating!

I have really been enjoying working with the bloggers and expanding my photography style and also appreciating other types of photography. I have really started to enjoy lifestyle photography and miss my travel with Madeleine to Ibiza, Barcelona and Paris.

A day adventure to a lake 30 minutes outside Munich was such a treat! 6 hours of being in complete relax mode with good food and lots of tanning. I met Saul in Ibiza at a party called DC-10 and he told me he lived in Munich which was awesome considering when you are at a party in Ibiza there are people from all over the world in one club.
He speaks fluent Spanish and German..which doesn't help a conversation with me. The amazing thing was spending two days with him, his english i could pick up had improved!

I tend to people watch in public places and was really lovely to watch at the families come and go and the interactions between grandparents and children and the children with one another discussing ice creams they just bought.
The water was pretty icy but much needed after cooking in the 33 degree heat that is not so common in Germany as you can tell by the large amounts of people who are burning. from there being not one cloud in the sky, 4 hours later the sky was dark grey and by 3 in the morning came an intense thunder storm, nothing more confusing than sweating in the rain.
I am on my way now by train to Hamburg for two weeks.
The train,i think is a better idea,it is 5 hours and by plane it is 2 hours but also factoring in waiting at the airports as well as also taking trains to and from the airport with 3 bags is a big mission.
I cancelled a week of AirBNB accommodation the last week of August as i aim to go back to Munich again.

More photos coming soon
